YOU CAN JOIN US IN THE MINISTRY WE DO EVERY DAY
Each day, our missionaries are serving our communities. Whether it is discipling new believers, providing medical care through medical outreaches, or having Vacation Bible Schools for our different villages, we want to be part of what God is doing in these communities. To join us in ministry, donate below! You can even designate your gift to a certain part of our day-to-day ministry. Thank you for partnering with us to bring the hope of Christ to the hopeless.

DISCIPLESHIP
Part of the mission of Bread of Life is to disciple new believers. We recently inducted a new 2-year discipleship class in our original village of Namariat. We are starting our second year of discipleship for our newest village of Kanugumeri. The Bread of Life Discipleship program requires for students to gather for one week per quarter for intense teaching on Biblical basics followed by several months of homework learning how to put those basics into practice. We are always looking for those who want to partner with this process and help us serve our students with meals provided for the teachers and students during discipleship weeks.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Because of Kenya’s education system, the elementary and secondary students attend year-round school, starting each year in January. Typically, students have most or all of the months of April, August, November, and December off from studies to go home as many of them are in boarding schools across the country. This provides the perfect time for Bread of Life to have an intense time of discipleship in addition to Sunday School and CRE during the school day. Each school break, we have VBS for the elementary kids and we just held our first youth camp this past December for our older students. Will you join us in raising up the next generation to know Christ?

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
In May of 2018, we had our inaugural women’s conference called Ngapalon or “Girlfriends”. Due to cultural norms, we have a much higher percentage of women in our churches than men. We want to make sure that we are taking care of those the Lord has entrusted to us. Since our first conference, Bread of Life has worked to build up female leaders to disciple the many women in our villages who have come to Christ. We seek to walk alongside these strong women in every aspect of their lives – from their spiritual walk to their marriages and parenting.

MEDICAL OUTREACH
Because our clinic is the only true medical care for 40 km, the tribal government has requested that we partner with them to take access to medical care further into the bush through weekly medical outreaches. Our missionaries would have the opportunity to serve alongside the county’s medical staff each week by bringing medical care as well as knowledge of the great Healer to those who have no access to either of these. We’re excited to get to be part of taking healing in all its forms out to those with no access.
